This is a sweet story about a duck family that found its way into a theater. This picture book is inspired from a true event. It is about a family of ducks who made their nest near a theater.

Mr. and Mrs. Puddleduck were expecting their first set of little ones. They needed to construct their nest but they didn't have any good spots left near the water's edge. Finally, they decide to lay the eggs in the courtyard of the theater. Mrs. Puddleduck waits with her eggs, meanwhile, Mr. Puddleduck sneaks into the theater to watch the show, and he returns back to tell his wife about the show. Unfortunately, one day, Mr. Puddleduck is so into the show he is watching that he doesn't understand that the show performers have seen him. When he recognizes this, he runs out afraid of being caught. Coincidently, the eggs hatch right at the same time.
Did they catch Mr. Puddleduck or did he escape with his babies?
