Hanna and Haejin are sisters. They are very excited for their dad who is coming home the next day. However, it is very hard to patiently wait for that exciting moment to come. But, when he comes, what gift do they give him? They decide to make a special treat for him - a Korean pancake "Hotteok", but for that they need few ingredients. Nevertheless, the sisters are not able to decide if this sweet treat would be a good enough gift for their dad or not. What would they decide on?

The story perfectly captures the emotions of the two sisters - anxiety and excitement. The warmth of their relationship with their dad and their eagerness in being helpful to do something for their parents is very beautifully depicted through this story. Most kids would be able to relate with such common scenarios of life.

📚 The sweet relationship between the sisters and all in the family is so beautiful. The warmth and care they show to each other sends a good message to the readers.

📚 Detailed illustrations make the story come alive in front of us and makes it very relatable!
