In the latter half of her life, Judith was enrolled at the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, California, which supports people with developmental disabilities. This was where her talent was discovered and supported. This fiber art was her medium of communication to the world. Her art is still on display in museums and galleries around the world.

The whole book is narrated by her twin sister Joyce Scott. A very inspiring and warm story, that proves to us that we can achieve remarkable things by rising above our perceived limitations. One of the best stories with the display of sisterly love and care. It was beautiful to see how siblings can be blessings to each other in moments of necessity.

Literally cried after reading it!
