A little kid is learning to ride a bike, and he crashes and damages the bike. He considers this as a failure in life and decides that he will never ride a bike again! This is the moment when the "pink fairy" - "the Magical Yet" appears! This fairy reminds the kid about his past successes and tells him to be patient for him to succeed. The learning process always comes with an indispensable possibility of mistakes happening along the way. But, with patience and hard work, anything can be achieved by anyone. Eventually, this same kid learns to ride the bike and becomes very confident in it.
This book can work wonders for kids as well as adults. The illustrations are so beautiful and coordinate well with the story's mood and lesson. This story describes to us the hard part of learning anything new and how to overcome it.
This would be a good read-aloud for little kids and toddlers since this instills a growth mindset from childhood onwards. It is also a great read for elementary kids which could pave a smooth pathway of future growth for them.
