Chapter book series with a lot of fantasy and adventure full of wizards, trolls, fairies, and mermaids. The Lost Stone is the first book in this series.
There is a nice map of the kingdom at the beginning of the book. The story is about Lucas, the prince, and Clara, the seamstress's daughter, who go on an adventure to find out the Queen's missing emerald. The overall story is okay, but the plot could have been better.
Easy-to-read and interesting book for kids 5-9. This book is the perfect length for a beginner chapter book reader and has good illustrations.
