Hare is more or less a loner, he works for himself and saves for himself. When a rabbit family shows up one day and tells the hare that they are his new neighbors, Hare doesn't seem happy at all! He doesn't invite them to his home, share food, or any goodies, instead, sends them back hungry! Hare in fact tells them to get going!
As per the Hare's thoughts - "The more I give away the less there is for ME. "
Even though sad and shocked by the Hare's behavior, the rabbit family walks away. Eventually, they start planting a huge garden of carrots. Even the Hare seems really impressed by the rabbits' hard work. Forgiving all the harsh words the Hare had told them, the rabbit family invites the Hare to share their carrot soup they prepared from their bounty. However, Hare declines their soup invitation and their friendship. Hare cannot even believe that the rabbits are sharing their hard earned bounty with another person! But, deep inside, Hare did feel good about the kindness the rabbits showed.
Did the Hare stay the same forever? Nope!
One night, a famished wild boar comes running to steal the food on the farms. What did the Hare do? Does he save his turnips and let the boar devour the rabbits' farm? Or, did his thoughts change for good? Read on!
