The Hare Who Wouldn't Share
An uplifting story of a pessimistic selfish hare who doesn't like to share and work in a community. A very significant yet simple story in today's narrow-minded world!
Once again, the cover page illustration was the first reason I read this book! Such an adorable little owl!
This beautiful and sweet story is about a little owl named Rockefeller and her adventurous journey to New York City's Rockefeller Center. The author of this book Ellen Kalish is the director of Ravensbeard Wildlife Center.
The little owl was living in a tall pine tree, until, one cold winter morning, few men arrived and started cutting the tree in which she was living. This particular pine tree was chosen to be the one to stand in the famous Rockefeller Center in New York City during this Christmas season. Unfortunately, when the tree was cut and was being transported, the little owl got trapped in between the branches and couldn't escape.
The little owl and her friends in the forest never knew what Christmas was or never believed in the magic of Christmas. However, when the owl is found and saved by a woman (Ellen), the real Christmas miracle begins in the owl's life! The owl is taken to the wildlife rehabilitation center for recovery and care. Later, the owl is released back into the wild.
📚 An uplifting real story, perfect during Christmas, with gorgeous illustrations!
📚 Compassion and kindness are important in our lives.

Happy St.Patrick's Day to all those who celebrate!
Purim, a joyful jewish holiday, is being celebrated on March 13-14 this year. This holiday is based on how Queen Esther and her cousin, Mordechai, prevented Jewish people from being slayed by the evil Haman in ancient Persia. It celebrates their miraculous success and survival.
