The Hare Who Wouldn't Share
An uplifting story of a pessimistic selfish hare who doesn't like to share and work in a community. A very significant yet simple story in today's narrow-minded world!
"Bravery grows in your mind but has roots in your heart."
A beautiful inspirational book authored by the first Muslim American woman in hijab who competed for the United States in the Olympics and won bronze!
The story opens with Faizah going to Jummah with her mom and sister, to pray with her family and the community. Afterwards, she goes to her fencing class. However, she wavers and feels scared when she tries to fence in front of others. She doesn't like it when people stare at her, because she thinks she has done something wrong. Even though she gets told that reminders and corrections are part of a class, she doesn't feel okay.
Faizah returns home and learns the moves from her sister and practices on her own. She builds her confidence and courage to do it in front of a crowd. When she feels that everyone is watching her moves and not her, she doesn't feel scared. She felt good to lead the class showing them her best moves.
📚 A lovely story that would help little ones find the courage hidden inside them.
📚 Vibrant illustrations. Poetic text.

Happy St.Patrick's Day to all those who celebrate!
Purim, a joyful jewish holiday, is being celebrated on March 13-14 this year. This holiday is based on how Queen Esther and her cousin, Mordechai, prevented Jewish people from being slayed by the evil Haman in ancient Persia. It celebrates their miraculous success and survival.
