The Berenstain Bears and the Real Easter Eggs

03/27/2024

In the Berenstain Bear family, the little one (sister) is counting the Valentines she got from her classmates. She thinks that holidays are supposedly created for getting things, especially candy. She scrolls through the calendar and finds out that the next holiday is Easter, so she gets excited about the candy and gifts she is going to get when Easter comes.

Title: The Berenstain Bears and the Real Easter Eggs

Author/ Illustration: Stan Berenstain / Jan Berenstain

Publisher: Random House Books for Young Readers

Meanwhile, Mama Bear teaches the kids that holidays are not all about getting things and candy. She wanted the kids to know about the true meaning of observing each holiday. Finally, brother and sister bear go for an Easter egg hunt, but instead of easter eggs what did they find out - real bird's eggs in a nest. A great ending for the story which suits both the springtime and the holiday Easter!

This book can be used to teach children about the beauty of nature and all the wonders it holds! This would be a perfect read for elementary kids.
