Such a touching story about a little girl Tate, who wants to protect all the wild animals! This story has a fun presentation but a very vital lesson lies embedded inside it!

Title: Tate's Wild Rescue

Author: Jenny Turnbull

Illustrator: Izzy Burton

Publisher: Crown Books for Young Readers

Tate, a little girl, wants to rescue animals living in the wild. She feels that they would be more comfortable if they live with her in her home, because in the forest, they all are roaming about lonely and maybe hungry, and also, it would be cold out there!!! She feels that she can take care of them very well in the safety of her home. She would have many best animal friends as well.

She was very much surprised when none of the animals were ready to accept her offer. They find different reasons like the lion wants to keep hunting in the wild, the orca feels the swimming pool is too small for her, the tiger doesn't want to eat cookies at all, etc. Tate is totally confused and extremely sad about this. She doesn't understand why the animals don't prefer a safer environment than the dangerous forest.

Why do the animals not prefer Tate's safe home?

📚 A pleasing story and appealing illustrations.

📚 A very important message - wild animals always belong in the wild!

📚 Perfect for kids ages 4+
