Stink is Judy Moody's brother. They pretty much have a love/hate relationship.

Once, Stink writes a letter to a candy company complaining that the candy called "jawbreaker" didn't break his jaw. OMG! Soon he becomes obsessed with getting free stuff and is inspired to write even more letters in hopes of receiving more surprises. However, in this excitement, Stink misses an envelope in the mail pile and his best friend is totally not happy about it.
