The Hare Who Wouldn't Share
An uplifting story of a pessimistic selfish hare who doesn't like to share and work in a community. A very significant yet simple story in today's narrow-minded world!
This is a very relatable story in today's world. It is a heartfelt story that teaches the importance of climate change and its effect on wildfires.
Simone lives in a small cozy house in California. On a fateful day, Simone and her mother had to evacuate their house and move into a shelter because of a wildfire that was still not being contained. Little Simone was terrified at this incident since she had not come face-to-face with a natural disaster yet. Her mother assured her everything would be alright and the firefighters ( and the CDCR inmates) would safeguard their houses from the blazing fire.
Simone's mother briefly narrates a similar story that happened in her childhood. When Simone's mother was little, her family was forced to leave Vietnam because of a catastrophic flood, thankfully, everyone in her family survived. Even though this story provided a lot of assurance to Simone, she was still petrified by the large-scale of the wildfire, the whole evacuation process, and their temporary stay in the shelter.
It is encouraging to see how the little kids in the shelter make new friends, engage themselves in activities like drawing and coloring, and dream about becoming future firefighters to save and protect Mother Earth.
📚 A topic of paramount importance depicted in this story - climate change and its impact on mother earth! The story also emphasizes the importance of family and friendship.
📚 Pale black, white, and blue illustrations with a burst of rainbow colors here and there. Incredible artwork!

Happy St.Patrick's Day to all those who celebrate!
Purim, a joyful jewish holiday, is being celebrated on March 13-14 this year. This holiday is based on how Queen Esther and her cousin, Mordechai, prevented Jewish people from being slayed by the evil Haman in ancient Persia. It celebrates their miraculous success and survival.
