Red and Lulu

This is such a sweet and heart-warming story! Perfect for this time around the year! A very similar story to the one I shared yesterday - "The Christmas Owl".

Red and Lulu are two sweet cardinals who make their nest in a huge evergreen tree. This is probably a safe spot for them, year round. They really loved their home and didn't want to go anywhere else at all. They were living happily together, but, one day, something unimaginable happened and they got separated! Red was away looking for food, when few people came to cut down the tree and take it away on a truck. Nobody knew that Lulu was still there hidden inside the tree! When Red was returning, he got a tiny glimpse of the tree being taken away, and he was heartbroken, thinking about Lulu who might be trapped inside the tree. Red was determined to follow the truck and get Lulu back from inside the tree somehow. Unfortunately, the truck was too fast for Red to catch up. Now Red has lost Lulu and his home, what would he do?

Does the miracle of Christmas reunite them? Did Red go behind the truck until he caught up with them and retrieved his Lulu back?
