This is a story of the squirrels Norma, Belly, and Little Bee. One day they find out that there is a new cookie factory being constructed in their acorn hiding spot. They track down one of the cookies and take it home to test it out. Whoa! What did they find inside the cookie - a little slip of paper with something written on it, folded up! Little Bee, curious as to why a paper is there inside a cookie, reads what is written on the paper.
Norma, Belly, and Little Bee are confused and puzzled, hence, they go seek answers from their Gramps, who tell them about fortune cookies. Norma devises a plan to get inside the cookie factory so that they can have cookies all day every day. When they manage to enter the factory, they see Ms.Fortune who is the creator of new "fortunes". Unfortunately, she catches them but, as always, Gramps comes to their rescue!
This book is very similar to "Pizza and Taco" and "Narwhal and Jelly". Hilarious dialogues and simple, yet effective illustrations are very easy to understand even for little elementary kids.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
