Grumpy Monkey Don't Be Scared
Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
It is totally okay to be different in a crowd, in this world, anywhere for that matter! I think all of us can relate to this concept of not fitting in one situation or another in our life.
Kelp was born in the deep ocean. He was born a little different from his narwhal family. Over a period of time, the differences grew, except the fact that they shared the similar horns on their heads. Kelp had a shorter tusk, his food interests differed, and he didn't swim well like the other narwhals. However, Kelp and his friends were not bothered about these differences between them.
Until one day, when Kelp starts feeling that he is simply out of place. This feeling is triggered when Kelp one day, happens to be near the surface of the ocean water, and sees a creature that looks just like him (maybe a narwhal living on land!). Eventually, Kelp finds out a whole group of unicorns and he has fun being with them. However, after a period of time, he starts missing his ocean friends, and yes, so he goes back to them!
Kelp is kind of torn between two worlds, which world do you think he would choose?
