"It's better to be stuck in a hug than stuck all alone"!

Title: Nobody Hugs a Cactus

Author/Illustrator: Carter Goodrich

Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

Ages: 3+

Hank is a cactus, and of course, he is spiky! He sits in a round pot in the window of a house surrounded by barren desert. He enjoys being alone and sometimes gets very annoyed when someone comes to bother him. He was enjoying his lone time when Rosie, the cheerful tumbleweed, passed by greeting Hank and shattering his peace. Likewise, a few other animals, like a turtle, a jackrabbit, a coyote, a lizard, an owl, and so many others, also received the same response from Hank. He doesn't like noise and wants to continue his solitary life. Little did he know that he was in need of a hug from someone!

But, who would hug a cactus without getting pricked? Did someone get the ball rolling? Yes…? Who was that kind friend?

πŸ“š Unconditional love and kindness - these habits can be difficult and challenging but definitely worth it!

πŸ“š Simple yet expressive illustrations (even Hank's face was showing so much emotions!!!)

πŸ“š Recommended for kids ages 3+
