Natsumi is a cute and energetic little girl. She does everything a little loud, fast, and a little too much. Natsumi's village is preparing for the yearly festival and she wants to be a part of it. But, such festivals, ceremonies, and dancing are just not her forte.
Natsumi is sad about all this when, fortunately, her grandfather comes to her rescue. He understands what Natsumi is feeling and what her ability is. He finds the perfect spot in which Natsumi can really shine above all others!!!
The vibrant illustrations are a perfect complement to the flow and content of the story. The Japanese culture and celebrations are captured beautifully in the book. This book would be a perfect fit for elementary-aged kids.
