Grumpy Monkey Don't Be Scared
Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Fluffy is Lilly's dog and every morning they go to the park with Lill's mom. Each day while they go, they see Andy (another friendly grey dog) and his owner, who is homeless. Lilly probably never allows her dog, Fluffy, to play with Andy because Andy's owner is a little different from normal people.
One day, when Fluffy is playing fetch with Lilly, the ball goes into the street and Fluffy gets lost running behind the ball. Fortunately for her, Andy and his owner spot Fluffy. They take Fluffy with them for the night and all of them sleep under the railway arches singing songs.
The next day, they spot a "Missing" poster which helps them locate Fluffy's address and Fluffy is reunited with her owner. However, Fluffy wants to play with Andy again, and she requests Lilly in her "dog" language.
Does Lilly understand and agree to her dog's request? Did Fluffy play with Andy again?
