Leif and the Fall
This is very true - even discarded ideas can build the basis for great things in life!
Bruce is a big black bear. He doesn't like sunny days or rainy days. He hates cute little animals. However, he loves eggs.
When he discovers a recipe for goose eggs, he immediately heads out to the forest to find some. He collects (steals!) 4 goose eggs and takes them home. When he returns after collecting some firewood, he finds that the eggs have hatched into four goslings. He thinks of eating them with a splotch of butter, but, nah, he loses appetite! He tries to return them to Mother Goose, but she has already left for the winter. So now, Bruce is stuck with four little goslings who follow him everywhere due to a case of "mistaken identity".
Bruce takes up the challenging role of a mother quite unwillingly, as the goslings grow from babies to teenagers to adults. However, still, the goslings don't want to leave their mother "Bruce". Finally, they migrate to Miami!!!
🐣 Hilarious illustrations and storyline.
🐣 Silly humor works perfectly from the way Bruce shops for the eggs until he migrates to the south, which is a surprise ending.
🐣 Despite his unwillingness to mother the goslings, the story shows that Bruce has a heart of gold and this family is forever.
🐣 Perfect read-aloud for toddlers and little kids. Great picture book for elementary kids to read too.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
