Malala and her family lived in the Swat Valley of Northern Pakistan. They were living a normal and peaceful life. Her father runs the local school. However, when terrorists move into this area, things start changing. They denied school for girls and all the girl children were forbidden from going to the school. But, Malala doesn't give up!
Malala fought a courageous battle against the terrorists since she knew education was the birthright of any human being. One day, she almost gave away her life for this cause when she was shot on the way home from school. Fortunately, she recovered in a hospital in Birmingham after surgery. She has continued her mission since then.
* Exceptional story full of inspiration, hope, relentless determination, and encouragement
* A great real-life lesson for kids to read about kids in other countries who are forbidden from going to school. This helps us value what we are gifted with - the fundamental right of education.
* This story is very relatable to us because it is told with authenticity. Malala is like any normal girl who enjoys life with her family, cooks with her mother, reads with her father, and plays games with her siblings.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
