Title: Jo's Super Skates
Author: Timi Ojo
Its Jo's Birthday and time to schedule her birthday party. Jo really wants to have an outdoor birthday party and she asks her mom about it. However, her mom suggests that an indoor space would be good for the birthday party since it is very cold winter time. Unfortunately, due to the same reason, all the indoor party spaces are fully booked. Jo becomes very sad!
Eventually, her mom suggests that since all the indoor spaces are booked, they could have an outdoor birthday party. Jo was super excited! She already knew the place to go for the party - "The Forks"! This was a historic place where 2 rivers met and during winter, this turned into a long skating trail.
On the party day, Jo was so excited that she got ready very quickly. Her mom was super impressed! Jo's family and friends met at the Forks. There were balloons decorations and a big birthday cake. After cutting the cake and eating, it was time to go for skating fun. When Jo put on her rental skates, she felt strange and to her surprise, legs twirled both ways as if she was an expert skater. Nobody was able to keep up with Jo during skating and Jo was awarded 2 medals because she was the fastest kid on that trail!
How did Jo do it???
This simple wintry book would be perfect for elementary aged kids and fun for anyone who loves winter, snow and skating.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
