📚 If you're trying to get a kid to read an early chapter book, it is going to be tough, especially if it is not a comic or graphic novel. A beginning reader usually avoids dull books, and they just want to read something fun and humorous. This is one such book.
📚 This story focuses on positive thinking and reverence. Moreover, this book also depicts Black culture, friendships, and family support especially, between grandparents and grandkids.
📚 I would say this book has a little something for everyone in any age group.
📚 The illustrations are a beautiful addition to the narrative and pull the entire story together.
📚 The target audience would be kids in the middle grades like 2nd grade and up.
