Leif and the Fall
This is very true - even discarded ideas can build the basis for great things in life!
This is a story about the imagination and fascination of a little girl! This little Gullah girl lives on the coast of South Carolina. One day morning, she runs onto Indigo Beach where her imagination runs wild.
She imagines if there would be another girl enjoying the beach just like she is doing now! Maybe there is a faraway girl who likes the same things that she also likes. She imagines that faraway girl to be very similar to herself and thinks that she also would be looking up to the same sky and moon. Does she also eat the same kind of food? Can she also catch the rain on her tongue? Does that faraway girl have a similar dream just like her? Does she count every star in the sky like her? Everywhere she walks that day, she imagines the faraway girl doing the same things as her.
🌈 Absolutely stunning chalkboard-like watercolor illustrations.
🌈 The text is very simple, however, the story is very creative.
🌈 This book would make kids dream and think along with the little Gullah girl and understand how vast and beautiful the world is.
🌈 Best suited for kids in the elementary age.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
