Imperfectly Perfect

Little kids sometimes, when they turn the pages of a book (carelessly in our way of thinking!), the pages may tear a little bit. We all know this and have seen this happening at least once!

Title: Imperfectly Perfect

Author: Perry Emerson

Illustrator: Hoang Giang

Publisher: Tiger Tales

Here in this story, Maria is perusing her brother Robbie's favorite book and turning the pages just the way her brother does. Oh! Unfortunately, many of the pages come torn off while she turns the pages. Sadly enough, Robbie walks in seeing this. Of course, Maria didn't mean to do that, but Robbie is totally devastated! He walks away, storms off to his room and bangs his door shut. Maria begins to cry thinking that Robbie would never be friends with her again and would not read to her again.

A family friend Ms. Bea comes to Maria's rescue and comfort. She advises Maria to observe the beauty in imperfect or broken or mended things. Both of them together fix Robbie's book pages using a golden tape. Maria apologizes to her brother Robbie, and they reconcile thereby healing their relationship.

Such a beautiful story and concept that everyone should understand in this world!

📚 Awesome message in this book - "Things need not have to perfect all the time and we cannot correct all the things in life. In fact, being imperfect sometimes may make things look better."

📚 A sweet book about forgiveness and responsibility.

📚 Softly colored illustrations - they capture the emotions of the characters well!

📚 Recommended for kids ages 3+

Palindrome - yes, you will find them through the entire story. The title of the story is itself a palindrome! Wow! Such a poignant and emotional tale!
