This book is a message of hope and responsibility to care for everything on Earth.
A new baby whale grows within her mother with one heartbeat. Unfortunately, after the calf is born, it loses its mother during a whale hunt. The whale calf lives on as a single (one) heartbeat. Many years later, a little girl's heartbeat begins to beat in tune with the calf's heartbeat. And so life moves on in this universe, healing and renewing itself!
