Ellie's Story

Whether you're a dog lover or not, this story is going to touch your heart for sure! A very inspiring story of a very important dog, Ellie. It is about a search-and-rescue dog and a really interesting fact is that this story is written from the point of view of the dog, Ellie. I love that the author has given the dog Ellie, a personality in this story.

Ellie was born to do something special. She gets adopted by a widowed police officer. She starts her search-and-rescue training. Eventually, she realizes that the humans are the ones who needed to be saved in their lives. Ellie has to help her owner to escape the grief of losing a loved one. This book leaves us with the fact that there is still hope left in this world and mankind. 

No words can explain this book enough. Just loved it! 

This book would be more suited for higher elementary grades or middle school.
