Christmas is the most favorite time of the year for Dasher. She is unable to sleep the night before Christmas and she can't wait anymore. So, she sneaks off on her own but unfortunately, she gets lost! She is unable to use the North Star as a guide back home. Opportunely, a young child comes to the aid of Dasher. The child's kindness and help supports Dasher to find her way back to the North Pole. Dasher gets reunited with Santa just in time to deliver presents around the world. Meanwhile, Dasher wishes to thank the little kid with a special gift and asks Santa if it could be done.

This book is a sweet follow-up to Dasher (the 2019 book). The illustrations are nothing less than gorgeous. The faces of the reindeer in the book are so real! The winter wonderland with snowy night skies is a treat to your eyes. Overall, a gentle and heartwarming story, supported by realistic images which makes you feel you are present inside the story.

A perfect holiday-time classic read for little kids and I would say, for the whole family!
