Social anxiety - a very prominent topic being depicted in this wordless book. This book has some marvelous illustrations that convey everything that the author wants to say and much more. It is a wordless book but is definitely able to self-explain to us what the story is.
It's truly a visual delight, and it is stunning to see Molly fighting her fears and bouncing back. It doesn't help when Molly tries to run away from the monsters (her fears). It takes a great deal of strength for Molly to utter than final "Hi".
Since this book is wordless and full of pictures, this could be a toddler and lower elementary kid-friendly book, but they would need a little support from adults to fully understand the inner meanings of the pictures. It would be very suitable for upper elementary kids and even for the introverts in us, adults, too.
