Ada Lovelace (1815–1852) was the daughter of Lord Byron, a poet, and Anna Isabella Milbanke, a mathematician. Ada is a dreamy, imaginative, inventive sort of girl. Her parents separated when she was young since her mother wanted a more practical education whereas Lord Byron wanted poetry instilled in her.
