A heart-touching story about the topic of loss, grief, resultant memories, and coming in terms with these emotions. The things and memories they leave back with us make us very emotional and sentimental. A universally relatable story!

Title: A Stopwatch from Grampa

Author: Loretta Garbutt

Ages: 3+

A little kid has Grampa's stopwatch with him now. Grampa used this stopwatch to time a street race, ice cream eating contest, and so much more. Now that his Grampa is no more, the little kid sadly says "I don't want his stopwatch. I want him." We sometimes forget to treasure people when they are around, but we soon understand what we lost, when we lose them. This little kid passes through lots of emotions in this story - denial, sadness, anger, dejection, and finally, acceptance

📚 Simple but poignant story.

📚 Illustrations capture the mood of the story in its entirety
