Leif and the Fall
This is very true - even discarded ideas can build the basis for great things in life!
For me, the cover page of this book was an instant appeal to seek out this book! It is usually the case with me - the cover does have an impact on my reading! Funny! 😂
The vibe is very similar to "Lord of the Rings", "Nevermoor" and "Harry Potter". This is an adapted twist on the Pied Piper of Hamlin story.
Our journey begins with Patch Brightwater, the little piper who comes across a village that is heavily infested with rats. Eager to assist, Patch plays a forbidden song that leads the rats to their deaths but the spell had also begun its magic on humans. This is how Patch gets locked up in the dungeon.
Patch, is not the typical hero, because he lands himself in prison. The prisoner next door is coincidentally, the Piper of Hamlin. Patch becomes friends with Wren, a girl with big dreams, who was cursed by a sorcerer and has been turned into a rat. When a chance comes up, Patch and Wren make a run for it. Barver, a dracogriff (half dragon and half griffin), also joins Patch and Wren. Together the three set off on a grand adventure filled with sorcerers, dragons, bandits, and a deadly enemy.

Halloween is over, but it looks like we're not really done with Halloween books! This is part of a book series that never disappoints the readers.
Of late, I got to read two fascinating non-fiction books, which changed my ideology of the food and grocery industry from the roots up.
